"My Story, Your Love"

"My Story, Your Love" was Tan Jian Ci's first solo concert tour and one of the defining milestones of his musical career. Held throughout 2024, the tour visited five major Chinese cities and featured a repertoire centered on his work as a solo artist, including songs from the albums "Dreams" and "Huan", as well as several of his best-known drama soundtracks.

The tour visited the following cities:

• Shanghai — August 17, 2024

• Beijing — August 31, 2024

• Nanjing — October 5, 2024

• Chengdu — November 16, 2024

• Shenzhen — December 7, 2024

Unlike many large-scale concerts in China, "My Story, Your Love" was never officially livestreamed or released as a complete concert recording. As a result, the performances remained an exclusive experience for those who attended each show in person. Today, the available material consists of the official photographs and selected videos released by JC-T Studio, together with thousands of fan cams recorded by audience members. These recordings have become an invaluable visual archive, allowing fans around the world to experience the atmosphere of each concert.

In the weeks leading up to the opening concert, JC-T Studio released a series of five conceptual short films introducing the artistic themes of the tour through a poetic and cinematic visual language. Directed by Tan Jian Ci, the films explore ideas such as memory, connection, love, and personal growth. Not all of the shorts feature him as the central character, reflecting their purpose of expressing the tour's artistic vision rather than simply promoting the concerts. The series later received recognition at an audiovisual awards event, highlighting another dimension of Tan Jian Ci's creative work beyond music and acting.

As the tour's official record, a special documentary was later released on BiliBili (see here). Featuring behind-the-scenes footage, rehearsals, production, stage preparation, and selected moments from the concerts, it offers an intimate look at the creative process behind the tour and Tan Jian Ci's close involvement in every stage of its development.

More than a series of concerts, "My Story, Your Love" was conceived as an integrated artistic project combining music, storytelling, and cinematic language. The tour reaffirmed Tan Jian Ci's identity as a multidisciplinary artist, deeply involved not only in the performances themselves but also in the conceptual and visual design of the entire production, transforming each concert into a shared experience between artist and audience.
