Alongside his acting career, Tan Jian Ci has developed a consistent trajectory in music, which began in the 2010s as part of the group M.I.C. Following his transition to individual activities, he gradually shaped his identity as a solo artist, exploring a sound that blends contemporary pop, R&B, and a strong performative dimension rooted in his dance background.

His solo career took form with the release of his first album, originally launched digitally in April 2023. The physical version began to be distributed to fans and internationally around January 2024, consolidating the project with a broader audience. The album features standout tracks such as "Bad Mona Lisa" and reflects a dreamlike and fantasy-driven aesthetic, recurrent in his performances and visual concepts.

His second album, “Huan”, had its tracks gradually revealed starting in June 2024, with the physical release and large-scale sales beginning in November 2025. The project achieved strong commercial success, surpassing 15 million yuan in sales shortly after its release, reinforcing his position as a solo artist in the music market.

Between August and December 2024, Tan Jian Ci held his first solo tour, performing in Shanghai, Beijing, Nanjing, Chengdu, and Shenzhen. The concerts were conceived as extensions of his artistic language, integrating music, visual narrative, and performance, and solidified his presence as a stage performer.

In December 2025, he began the production of his third album, anticipated by the singles "Proof" and "Dead Reflex", pointing toward a new phase in his musical trajectory, marked by greater conceptual depth and artistic refinement.
